Version Overview
SmartGate 3.6.0 focuses on database and middleware monitoring capability upgrades and plugin communication protocol modernization. This version supports new Web configuration mode for components such as ClickHouse, DMDB, Oracle, RabbitMQ (while maintaining compatibility with the old version), and adds support for LogsAgent request forwarding.
- ✨ Core Capability Enhancements:
- Component monitoring configuration upgrade: ClickHouse / DMDB / Oracle / RabbitMQ support new Web configuration;
- LogsAgent request forwarding: Opens up log data reporting channel;
- Monitoring Point 1.5.0.0: Communication protocol upgraded from WebSocket to HTTP, improving stability and compatibility;
- ⚠️ Important Upgrade Notice:
- Once the new monitoring strategy for the above components is configured via Web, cannot downgrade to old SmartGate, otherwise monitoring will fail and needs to be reconfigured on the Web side.
- ⚠️ Important Limitations:
- APM < V2.6.0: No batch forwarding, data sent directly without cache;
- APM < V2.10.0: K8s YAML display anomalies;
- APM < V3.6.0: K8s YAML incompatible with SmartGate 3.3.0.

- It is recommended that all users upgrade to 3.6.0 for more stable component monitoring and plugin communication experience;
- If using new database/middleware configuration, please ensure do not rollback SmartGate version;
- Recommended to use with One platform V2.4.0+ to unlock all features.

Supported Platform Versions
- One Platform: V2.4.0 and above
Limitations
- APM version < V2.6.0: Agents do not support batch forwarding, data will be forwarded directly, no local cache mechanism;
- APM version < V2.10.0: YAML files of K8s resource objects display abnormally on the platform;
- APM version < V3.6.0: K8s resource object YAML files are incompatible with SmartGate 3.3.0.
